Yes there is a bug with the patch. Not really a major one just an obvious one and yet everyone is acting like the rest of the patch is worthless. Aaron spends hours upon hours...

I think they have something in the events, 1 is unstable wormholes and the other is a space anomoly that flings yours ships/bases to another sector.

Since all this tech stuff is above me let me address the fields of fire issue. In space a ship would be able to rotate in any direction so that all weapons can come to bear.
