I started reading the WoT books when they were on book 7 or so, so I got the first one, liked it, then picked up...

The manual sucks bad given all there is to do in the game and the complexity of the combat and magic system.

More than half of it is item and spell descriptions. And the descriptions more often...

I'd wager that if the game was $10-15 cheaper, had good comprehensive docs and in game tutorial it would sell twice as many copies.

It would be great if you could list spells by their path requirements instead of by school, or look them up by name or 'effect'. Like show rituals only, etc.

At least that is the way it usually works for video/computer games. So that is why people (myself included) bring it up when discussing Dominions 2.

Its a fun game. If you can get past the initial learning curve, its worth the money. Although I agree with you, for a low budget game the price they are asking is questionable.

What exactly does 'more powerful' items mean? Better items without having to have researched them via Construction, (like artifacts at level 6 or something), or does everything you make have boosted...

Yeah it says something like your bid counts double, but when you rebid, your bid seems to be doubled already? But does it actually take that amount from your treasury if you win? Or just half?

Might have a bug here, not sure. Anyway, Legion of Wights summoned me Wights that cant be used underwater. Maybe this is by design, as I see the spell says it cant be CAST underwater (it wasnt). ...

The Dominions 1 documentation links are all missing the /dom directory so they should read
