On the other hand SPWW2 allows you to use all the German equipment but only in a timeline until december '46, but then you could also pretend it's later and just use the quipment...

I don't think it will work as simple as adding "2".
Every tank has a differently curved turret, and every degree more or less actually changes the amount of armour a AP round has to pass through.

Well, my favourite kills were when fire from a Soviet 203 Howitzer Section landed right into the middle of the German armor (1941) in the post deployment fire, and every round killed a German Tank.
