Re: Balance mod project

Pfaa, everyone knows longbow arrows are AN, as they're blessed by the king of England himself. Range 90 too.

Re: Nation - LA Serena: Merchant Princes

It strikes me that most of the basic troops come without helmet. At least Condotta's description makes it clear they are professionals, so they could at least have helmets. Especially so when you...

Re: Mistica: A Magocratic Police State (LE)

Being mobile seems the most outstanding difference, it can mean much during early game.(site searching, accompanying armies....)

Re: Lanka Sacreds

Palankasha are both quick and armored (well, better than their demon pals), which makes of them the gotto troops while your putting your blood economy online. If you've got craploads of gold, you...

Re: How kill Angels

I'd go for heavy soul slay/paralise spam, casters loaded with penetration boosters(+3 is easily doable, check Cleveland item table for details)/god with S9.

EDIT : what magic levels have you got...

Re: Gary Gygax R.I.P.

I don't like the system mostly because it changes D&D to the very bone : if dominions 4 was a FPS, I'd complain a lot. D&D4 is that much different than it causes the various game worlds created for...

Re: OT: Let’s all take a deep breath

Truly, does it matter ? Admins and mods seem to have decided to have a firm attitude around here, and opposing them directly will only, most likely, reinforce their resolution. They ask for some...

Re: OT: Let’s all take a deep breath

It's true that the transformation of what is a game community into a full grown parallel society, with it's trials and punishments, is an interesting behaviour. Isn't 'real' life a bit frustrating...

Re: OT: Let’s all take a deep breath

Sombre his not seemingly opposed to the use of brute force, if you read carefully his interventions. At least some of them are a little brutal.

Re: OT: Let’s all take a deep breath

@Gandalf : Uh, is all this about my jokes ? Not like if I was militating for the ones or the others(but it is very true I find all this fuss very funny). But I'm not a very educated or serious...

Re: OT: Let’s all take a deep breath

*JOKE* Well, brutal executions have at least one good point going for them : the guy won't come around complaining. *JOKE*

Well, being a mod or admin on this forum surely fills up some of their...

Re: Gary Gygax R.I.P.

I'm not that much on D&D either, but GG did much for RPG players in general. He is kind of a first stone in the cathedral you know, symbolic and all, that's why I'm offended with what DD4 is. (some...

Re: Ban-a-thon

I was rather punky when younger, if that brings some light on my comments.... So I do bear with 'atrocious rule breakers', mind you. :)

But I'm older now, and I can understand how this attitude...

Re: Ban-a-thon

Not caring about the rules is considered enougth to be punished (well, more often than not), in our western world.

Everyone knows this for sure, even the most scandalous of punks, so no one...

Re: Gary Gygax R.I.P.

Alas D&D 4 is a sad mutilation of the creation of GG. Hopefully his spirit wil live through other productions.

'I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known....' (from the song of a singer, I guess)

You peacemonger should beware, neutrals and pacifists are a prime target during civil wars !

Re: Night of the Long Knives?

I'm all for the rules, and fully support the decision of the mods/admins (what would I do in their stead ? Not that easy to figure out, methinks), but it is sad to see a pillar of the modding...

Re: EA: Vanilla, Newbie game [GOOD AGAIN!]

Re: EA: Vanilla, Newbie game [GOOD AGAIN!]

I can't find any reasons to continue the fight myself, the pace is only a factor among many others.

At least I set myself AI, it will give more problem to my opponent than just stalling away !
