Is this a case of Shinuyama or Shangri-La, but not both? If you only want eight players, I'd be happy to let BrodieSWR play. If nine is OK but Shangri-La isn't, I'll play Vanheim.

In my experience, mages won't cast reinvigoration unless they have fatigue. If you want to reinvigorate communion slaves with a master, the master will need to cast something to give himself fatigue...

Only an hour and a half left, name thief. It shouldn't take more than five minutes each for the first few turns....

Three capitals would be an OK win condition, but it would encourage more rushing...

thejeff beat me to to it, but


Summon Earthpower is E2, so casting it would use up a gem. Rain of Stones is E3 and requires one gem, so casting it requires two more gems, making a total of three...

My test showed an E3 mage using four gems to cast Earthquake after using Summon Earthpower, so boosting with spells definitely lets you cast things you couldn't cast otherwise, and also use more gems...
