If you don't put an offensive weapon on a ship it will run like a Frenchman. I like to use LC with PDC and a Capital Missile.

What happens if I have more facilities on a planet then there is room for. If I have 20 facilitiies and enemy sabotage reduces the planets number of facility slots to 19, there are still 20...

It will probably end up being like the new "Planet of the Apes". It had talking apes but that was the only relation to the original.
