Re: WinSP - NAVAL

Turns out that about 30M of the original 78M were two battle sounds files for music during play. I have removed them from the RAR file and posted the adjusted 'small' file. Apologies to Welk.

Re: WinSP - NAVAL

Cross: Thanks for the info. You are correct, the file I have is AKA Steel Napolean and is from the age of sail. A quote from the readme "STEEL REVOLUTIONS & EMPIRE (1776 - 1820) Ex - STEEL...

Re: WinSP - NAVAL

I have the file (Steel_Empire_Alpha2.rar) and the scenario (Battle.rar). The forum won't allow a RAR file over 23.8M. Not sure where I could post the 31.8M RAR file for folks to get to it. Any...

Re: WinSP - NAVAL

Gents: I have two mod files from Jun 2007 built for winSPMBT 3.5. Both in french by Welk--they seemed to be more 'skins' than full mods. Steel Empire was modern naval combat and is 31M with a...

SQMS: I have the three files. Original SPWW2 exec was 29,705Kb, the SPWW2v22upgrade was 5,745Kb and the SPWW2V2.2b final patch was 932Kb. I had to work real hard but I think I got it to work on my...

Design Team:

I happened to look at the campaign setup for this new campaign and noticed that node 003 and node 004 are seemingly connected to the same scenario file named Interv 03: Esmeraldas. ...

Re: Screen resolution poll

I run a dual monitor rig--a wide screen LCD at 1680x1050 and a normal LCD at 1280x1024. I have my XP desktop spread across both monitors. I run the game in 1600x1280 windowed on the w/s to have...

Re: Israel Invades Lebanon - Current Campaign

Ryan: You might also consider renumbering a bit higher since some Wild Bill stuff is in the same range. That would make it very simple for all of us to just download and extract into the scenario...

Very cool campaign--thanks for taking the time. I too really like the small unit games that force you to use tactics. I too had problems with the air drop deployment. The a/c...

Re: New Campaign! - UNIFE 2013

Mustang: Got it and understand that aspect--my original question revolved around why the snipers were size 3 vice size 1. The weapons and loadouts are how the designer gives it personality and I...

Re: New Campaign! - UNIFE 2013

Looks good. As I reviewed the forces, I wondered why you made the two snipers size 3 vice the normal size zero (indeed the actual size of the unit based on the info page)? Did you feel that would...

Re: WW: CVN-65 U.S.S. Enterprise Mod

Nice mod. For the sake of completeness and naval correctness, you may want to retitle the mod in the ini file as CVN-65 vice CNV-65.

Re: Got a Minute? Make that 15! Tank Fight

Wild Bill:

Really enjoyed the scenario. I think it says great things about small scale, historically based scenarios. The very cool thing here is that it isolates the battlefield operating...
