Re: A Bunch of new Tiles..

Hopefully they will upload these again. David did lots of nice sets. He used to be very active on here. I believe the tiles that shipped with the game were done by him.

Re: Mapgen and tilegen questions

There was never a good set released. You might be able to learn something from the modules people have made. I tried to make a few modules but never did get the hang of it. I mostly helped to test...

Re: Graphic releases

These look cool! :) Thanks for making them. It's true that this is a dead game. What a shame. It's a good game and I still play it. I always hoped that a large community would form around the game....

Re: Scripting Guide

You are welcome. Like you said the program can also convert to .TGA files. It can also resize images if needed. Overall a good free image program in my opinion.

Re: Game Suggestions

I agree. A Space Hulk mod would be awesome. I can see something like that working.

Re: Game Suggestions

The game allows the users the ability to add many new things. I don't know too many games that allow plug-ins. It seems very easy to add monsters, items, weapons, and armor.

I think we should...

Re: Game Suggestions

I have played and enjoyed the demo. Here are a few ideas:

- If you are at max health don't consume health items and food. Currently it will consume the item even if you are at full health -...

Re: Problems With Demo

I installed the game to the default location on my C: drive. It hasn't worked once - not even on the first try. I sent you the .TXT file you wanted. I read in the README.TXT that I might be using...

Problems With Demo

The demo won't start on my system. It brings up an empty window for a second but then just ends. The LOG.TXT file is empty. I'm running Win XP with 1GB of RAM, on a Geforce 4 Ti4800SE 128MB. I...

Re: Looks Cool

I'm looking forward to both the scripting and adding new artwork and sound. I pre-ordered 'Dungeon Odyssey' (from this website). I love the game and still play it today. I always hoped a mod...

Re: Looks Cool

I also can't wait to try the demo. I love Diablo and all the rogue like games. I'm pretty sure I will like this game. Hopefully the small inventory won't be an issue. I'm also looking forward to...

Looks Cool

This looks interesting and I might get it. I'm a little concerned that the inventory space is very small. This is just based on looking at the screenshots. There doesn't seem to be too many...

Re: Just tried the demo...

I have almost the same problems. I'm running on Win 98SE with 768MB of RAM and I have a 933MHZ CPU.

The game runs VERY slow on my system. I get crashes to the desktop quite often. I have yet to...

Re: Map Maker?

Too bad there isn't going to be a map editor. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Seems like an odd decision to allow users to 'mod' unit graphics and sound, a task not many...

Re: Christmas module (v 1.05 released)

Cool Mod thanks again for spending your time making it. I had a bLast playing thru it the first time.

I'm currently replaying the game with a Paladin. I think I'm in a spot where I can't win. ...
