You do realize you can use the Mirror to bounce the Kawangi back to systems he's already destroyed, yes? With that tactic you can hold it at bay pretty much indefinitely.

Every review I've read for WW has made it very clear that it's designed so you can play an entire game in a few minutes. If you expected more than that it's your fault, not the developers.

Alternatively, you could modify the inventory system so that item-giving scripted events are exempt from space constraint checks. So at worst the cargo bay might be overstuffed by a couple of items....

Yeah, I've done that with Ripcord (seemed appropriate), but I'd rather just leave them behind, then go around and scoop them up afterwards for the points.

I hate it. In the name of making battles more immersive, or impressive, or whatever, they basically made it so you have to use pause to keep up with your ships' conditions.

I thought that's what the devs intended anyway, since they removed the ability to easily monitor the shield and hull status of all your ships during combat.

Buh? There's no trick to using the Klakar effectively beyond the obvious-- only call them in when you're just slightly outclassed, and don't wait until things are "already out of hand" to do it.

Heh, yeah, now that I think about it they can fly right over black holes, so they'd pretty much have to have an anti-graviton shunt.

Still, the game should probably check to make sure it's not...
