Re: LA Pangea - a rotten way to go green

The first Baalz guide I ever read was the Helheim one, and that was essentially the strategy I used to reach 3rd in my first MP game.

So I am looking at LA Pan and thinking this could be a place...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Thanks for considering it Anaconda.

So it looks like Horrorfend, the eliminated player of Tien Chi, may be able to sub in for me. I sent him the turn file to look at. Hopefully Bullock can confirm...

Re: List of games currently seeking players (Making a new game? Need Subs? Post Here!

I need a sub for EA Caelum in Tiny Crowded World. We are definitely into late game, with 4 major powers remaining. Currently at war with Ctis, allied to Yomi, and at peace with Abysia. I am happy to...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

That is a great idea. The player of Agartha for example could certainly sub in for me. Probably Fomoria likewise.

Bullock, I will continue putting in turns, I may ask for delays now and then, but...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Sorry about the delay Bullock.

So, you will rightfully be annoyed with me, but I have to start looking for a sub.

1. This is only my 5th MP game of Dominions ever.
A) why didn't I get...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Hi. I'm afraid I have just run out of time. Getting my daughter to bed took longer than usual tonight, and I absolutely must have a hard stop now so I can drop them off at school and get to work...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Well, things are getting really complex. I would like to vote for bumping up the turns to 48h. Anyone else?

Thanks,
- Alex, Caelum

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Could I please have a 26h extension? Mondays are the really bad day for me - no time at all with comp access 7am - midnight, and I'm busy tonight. I should be able to deal Tuesday morning.

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Actually never mind, sleeping arrangements were rearranged so I could use the computer. Got the turn done.

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Hi folks. Is there a chance I could get a 24h extension? my family has been sick and sleeping poorly.

Do we really intend to stay on a 36h schedule indefinitely?

Caelum's Gem Emporium Now Open for Business

Do you need just a couple more of a particular type of gem? Worried about the cost of alchemy to get it? Worry no more! At Caelum's Gem Emporium you can...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

Given your position you could set yourself to AI, I don't think it would make a difference. Only then you won't get to watch the final few battles. :)

Thanks for a fun and exciting war.

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

I'm not sure if you did grant me a delay or not, I thought I made all the deadlines. I have been with limited internet connectivity but sufficient to get in my turns.

Re: 'Stillborn Noobs' Running

It really is a bummer that Pythium punted. Dean and I were really concerned right around the time that the first war vs Arco/Van was wrapping up. Dean's predecessor left him with a not great...

Re: 'Stillborn Noobs' Running

That battle, with the communion of Lizard shamans, I have to say I thought you had it won. You were paralyzing and mind blasting spiders left and right, the Relief on top of all of those communioned...

Tongue Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - (Running)

OK, who cast Hurricane on all the New England provinces? Since I'm playing Caelum, I have the paths and the gems, but I live there, so duh, I'm not going to drop it on myself. I don't think anyone...

Re: Should thugs fight alone or with bodyguards?

This is critical. In general, a thug is designed to be able to...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - Send pretenders in !

I downloaded the map file from the link in the first post. I seem to be missing these connections:

91-95
34-33 (near a mountain, but there is clearly a border)
52-54 (water province)

We can...

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - Recruiting

Well, I wrestled with my conscience and won. Let me tentatively say Caelum. I may have to drop out before the finalization of players, but I think I will be OK.

Re: Tiny Crowded World - EA - Recruiting

Sounds like a great game concept.

I ran a game on Streamlands a year or two ago and found a few map errors - connections where there should/should not be. I posted them to the map thread. I don't...

Re: 'Stillborn Noobs' Running

This is a fascinating war we are having. I would love to continue for a few turns. Pangaea is quite willing to sit out and just finish off Pythium and watch. Next turn we can probably set Pythium to...
