Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

So is this dead by now? If so, care to share the looks of the map at the end?

Re: Why do you play dominions?

Testing builds for yourself in a MP game is ok. You take a risk, which may or may not pay. Fighting an early war with someone else for your own fun means the target of your early war may have his...

Re: Why do you play dominions?

The question was not asked that way. You are inferring an answer to this question from a different question.
And to come back to the other forum question, your point was about ganking. Why gang? To...

Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

I'm sorry but I'm turning AI.
It's really a chore to play the turns and I haven't found anything clever to do for quite a while anyway.

Re: Mistletoe - an LA game for busy people (in progress)

I've been stuck for work without dom3 available for a few days and miscalculated the deadline.
I should be back home tomorrow evening. Could I have a 24h extension?

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

Yes, by the end game I was mostly wondering why we didn't stop.
I think Caelum should have joined the fight against Fomoria. Even I, with very little scouting ability, knew Fomoria was being huge. I...

Pangaea last turns: 40+

Since this thread fell off the first page, I think it's a good time to post my last turns.

Re: AAR for BSoD

Great!
A few comments on your AAR if I may:
Turn 1: Patrolling with LA Ermor on turn 1 looks useless to me. I usually pillage my capital. These people will die anyway. Patrolling is really only...

Pangaea Turns 19-27

I hope the others will post their AARs too, they are likely going to be more interesting than mine.

Summary: Pangaea is very good at turtling.

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

Yes I can try that. But with 3 forts + temples, that just won't work. Fomoria might never be able to take down my forts (but even that is doubtful), but I wouldn't have enough temples to counter...

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

Does anyone want to keep playing? The winner seems clear, annd the second largest player seems to acknowledge it. Of the remaining three, one is likely to be dead by next turn, the second one is in...

Re: The Joys of Overzealous Moderators

Just saw Calahan's ban.
That's even more retarded than Sombre's ban.

Pangaea turns 17-18

First of all; sorry for the stale turns. I thought I could manage to play from a cybercafe but the one I found was, well... enough said I couldn't. Sorry. Now I'm back home so I'll be able to play...

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

I'm afraid I'm going to stale this turn. Not that it will change much considering my current activities, but I'm unable to play my turn from this cybercafe and will only be back home on saturday :(...

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 13-16)

Hey, I need at least one more turn! Maybe two at most. I don't care what the dominant players think.

Re: Multi-Player After Action Report (Now Discussing Turns up to 8-9)

I'll post a bunch of updates together in a few weeks. I don't have much to say anyway and I think it's better to have several turns grouped together.

Re: Most cost-efficient conjurable units?

Yes, I can guarantee that summon animals is super effective for repairing walls. The hawks drop stones in the wolves'maws, who then send it to the lions, who hold them in place while the spiders use...

Re: Most cost-efficient conjurable units?

In CBM, Zmeys are the best possible use of fire gems.
Shishis are also pretty cost-effective.
In Vanilla, tartarians.
