 Cover-up?  It has already been reported that the platoon leader's commander tore a strip out of the guy for not firing the warning shot early enough.  "You f--ing killed a family" he supposedly said.  That said I would still view this as an accident and one that quite likely was caused in part by what Geo suggested.  Given the tactics used so far I for one am not in a postition to second guess the actions of troops in the field.
