	It's why I set the research cost to "low" for the game.  My basic intention for Highliner to make the game dependent on large interstellar ships.  That, of course, leads to the cascade effects mentioned (slower colonization, tech research, etc) - not to mention the changes to combat...Quote:

	But here you still have (once you get there) the opportunity to build worlds up at the usual SEIV rate, and don't have to be shackled to your homeworld so closely once that occurs.  Just imagine a Highliner/Proportions combo mod... that would take about as long to play as actual interstellar travel would in RL...Quote:
