Have you tried different options? Storms are the biggest culprits for slowdowns (even somewhat on my p4 2.4) - try setting them lower. Also, WinXP tended to slow the game down a lot more than say, Win98, which I ran with my Celeron 300Mhz and 320Mb RAM originally. If you are running XP, turn off some of the display options (like animated menus etc.). |
