Hey there,
While invading a system I had a rude awakening on one of the enemies planets. It seems he floated a space station with a massive mount Wave Motion Gun. Kiss my fleet good bye! 700 Damage from that gun plus he had tons of shielding. I had trouble even with Null Space Guns. I totally forgot that you can change the size of mount type guns(increasing damage). I would think that others have too.
