E-mail scams are a growing problem. You've almost certainly heard from a high government official in Nigeria recently, offering you millions of dollars if you'll just help him or her sneak some money out of the country.

You don't have to be smart, either.

That Nigerian scam alone - there are several Versions, but all share the same basic plot - took Americans for $22 million in the Last quarter of 2001.

I have but one question... How stupid are people?

I actually know a guy who fell, correction, is falling for this scam. He has even asked me for money. I told him it was a scam, showed him it was a scam, and yestarday I discovered, via his wife, he just shelled out another $500.00 dollars to these people. (Yes he is a stupid as he is gready) All total, according to his wife, he has sent these people nearly $2,500.00 bucks. Did I mention he was stupid?
