About the torches...
Look in the Main_ItemClasses.txt file in the data folder of your favorite module
do a search for 'torch' and below the name there is a line that looks something like this..
Light Number of Turns := 120
change the 120 to a higher number and that should make them Last longer. If you take the time to view the other data lines, you will also notice that you can modify many other aspects of the torch, weight, light radius, etc.
Hope this helps, (oh, and be sure to backup any files you modify, it's just good practice!)
