It would be interesting to hear different takes on the changes one would make in playing a balance map. Personally speaking, I know it has cut out a lot of cursing at my house (when you go through the 2nd nebula only to find a 3rd...you get my meaning)

As to Geo's v2.0, I'll have to go back and read it to see the difference between ice/rock and gas. This version had a nice randomness to it that made me cross my fingers each time I moved to a new system yet NOT presenting me with black holes and such things. I think it's a good improvement.
