All I've ever had in the way of consoles, was the original Nintendo (circa 1987
). It was awesome.
That said, I think you should invest that money instead in upgrading your PC, computer games are usually far superior than their truncated console versions. I have no plans whatsoever to buy any console, I'll stick with my computer.
