It must have been specifically added as it has an Israeli-style air recognition panel, unlike the USA desert versions. It has an X3 radio code so that it is only available for human purchase.

Therefore not a bug, it's provided for what-if situations.

(If "allies" were needed, that is already provided by the ALLIES screen, these are for units in national format tank formations).
