I have a more specific question about adding shipsets-

I want to use one of the shipsets for SE4 1.49 located at PBW; I don't really care how the AI uses this particular race, so can I just copy one of the current race AI files and .emp files and use them for this shipset?

Because the 1.49 AI files have trouble with 1.60.
