Well, this isn't 100% accurate. (You might know this of course, but after you learned (at least) one lesson about communions the hard way I thought I could try to help you along the way for future communion joy.

In fact, communion slave only don't get to cast if they come
after a casting master in the turn order. If they act before all masters in the communion they do cast normally.

It helped me a lot on my first serious attempt to rely on massive communions in battle. (Though I still managed to burn through quite a lot of slaves of course
