Ok,sorry for the link, I didn't see that these icons were created for Spwaw (I never used SPWAW = not my cup of tea, because global system and oob of spww2 are better, I think). But It's a pity that these graph will not be used by players, because they are very very good. I will now use them as private graphs.

I did not found the 19 mens polish squad you say, but, with Mobhack, I have given 19 men to a polish rifle squad to see the result : it's effectively a very "large icons" (it takes more place than the hex) but I think these situations are very rare in the game.
