*Dogscoff has his battlemoon brought into close orbit. It begins charging up it's planet-buster, ready to provide a truly momentous finale to the birthday party's lightshow.

Amsterdam was very cool. I went with my gfriend and two drinking buddies I went to uni with. Actually we didn't partake of the over-commercialised vices on display in Amsterdam (ie pot, porn & prozzies) but spent the time eating well, drinking local beers and even visiting a museum or two. *shock*. Went to the Anne Frank house, the "Heineken Experience" (A really good laugh, and your 7.5 Euro ticket includes you a pint and a half of the fizzy stuff and a beer glass to take home) and the Van gogh gallery. I have to say I was more impressed by the builiding than the paintings. Oh, also visited the "Sex museum", which has a truly hilarious collection of antique victorian porn photos, featuring men in outrageous moustaches boffing uninterested ladies. Well worth a visit, it's completely hysterical.

All in all, a bloody good weekend, although it seems to have cost way more than it should have.
