I am heading out of town for a couple of weeks. I will upload the current turn before I leave, and I think I will be able to play 2 or 3 turns at various times while on the road (but no promises).

I didn't see an obvious way to turn off the clock, so I set the host interval to some very large value. Quickhost is still on, so if turns get submitted they will also get processed.
