I identified your "what is this" AMX-10 RCR. It's a late model conversion known as the AMX-10 RCR SEPAR the following UNDER the Desert Storm section shows it as used in Operations in Mali in 2014.

See it in the last picture on the right Picture Gallery ABOVE the words Picture Gallery.

It's an add on armor kit.

I thought it might have been an ERA package at first glance which is why I dug into a little deeper. But it's possible France could've sent some of these packages as well.

Another something to look out for, I guess.

Oh, those articles are starting to "pop up" again about Putin not looking well or similar. I guess the FSB/GRU have nothing better to do.
