I'm thinking of using DO as an engine for a Dominions-based roguelike (how's THAT for cross-pollination
), but most roguelikes are turn-based... is it possible to mod DO to make it turn-based, or at least pauseable realtime where you can target things and use items while the game is paused?
(Also, does DO give cryptic access violation errors like Starfury when you try to mod it and you screw up, or are the errors more sensible, like SE4's?)
