If you use special forces, then it is a scenario that you will be doing, since these are not the remit of a lowly battalion commander. Such special forces (SAS, Spetz etc) are provided for
scenario designer usage, not for regular battles, or to use in a player's core etc.. OK to use for a specific scenario on Pebble Island for example.
IEDS
are a regular day-to-day item in Terry Taleban's arsenal, however.
