It's pretty trivial to get windows or linux software to run on macs, there is 3 basic ways.
Either create a separate partition for a second OS through bootcamp, or use wrappers like Cider and wineskin, or run an emulator to create a temporary virtual machine with the desired OS.
Only bootcamp gives you 100% performance, so that's recommended for gaming and such, but the other alternatives should be plenty enough to run the apps needed here.
