I didn't want to start a new topic, but I've found some related info on
Slovak oob51 . It uses the only MANPADS:
061 Igla Team since 1993. Photo is Strela, as above.
According to Slovak MOD magazine "Obrana" 3/2012 published in the web, Slovakia initially from 1993 should have
Strela-2 (Czechoslovak 074 unit), withdrawn from regular use some time before 2012 (still used for training).
According to article in Polish "Nowa Technika Wojskowa", 9K38 Igla were acquired by Slovakia only in late 1997 (according to
https://www.armedconflicts.com/9K38-Igla-t9092 from 5/96, which I can't verify - it says about transitional 9K310 Igla-1, but Slovak MOD sources mention 9K38).
(BTW: Russian designations are confusing, because 9K38 Igla is the whole system, while the missile is 9M39 - as we use it in weapon's name)
