FWIW I now have 16 different copies of the installers in my downloads folder using the links and procedures I have provided so this should work for everyone

Shrapnel made some changes and now It will start DLing for me in under 8 second with no need for pasting links to browsers
JUST FYI -----if anyone has noticed the kerfuffle on the MBT forums about missing files rest easy..... WW2 was not affected

Halstein.... you would probably not notice at your end but your signature looks like this......

That's assuming you see the diamonds with ? in the middle.....
......unless that's Norwegian secret code........ 
( though Google sees "skal konung hafa" as Islandic for "the king shall have"

Mu old patch "WinSPWW2 Ver9-Ver14 Consolidation_Upgrade(2021)" is 160MB - the new "WinSPWW2 Ver16 _Upgrade(2023)" that is supposed to replace it is 9MB.
Did I download an incorrect file?

Seems like the forum don't like Old Norse/Icelandic characters then. It is a quote from King Magnus "Barelegs" of Norway, who was raiding in Ireland, and was asked to be more careful answered "We have kings for glory, not long life". Shortly afterwards I got killed in an ambush.

Well folks I really did mess up.
I investigated the post made by Void1984 and he is correct.
The patches posted yesterday for both games ARE ONLY THIS YEARS WORK..... they are not consolidators that update over a number of versions they are just this years work so I have to build everything again.......... If you have been patching every year you don't have to do this again but if you have not patched for a couple of year hold off until I can build and test new ones and that may not be for a couple of days
