Default AATF: SOS! Please help!

OK...I tried posting this before, but it seemed to disappear...

Anyway, I just got my copy of AATF! It installed fine and loads fine...all opening videos play great. However, when I try to run a scenario, the game crashes...I've tried running in all different resolutions, but its no use...my rig easily exceeds the minimum specs...what gives? HELP!

CPU: Pentium D 3.0GHz
Operating System: Windows XP Professional
RAM: 2.0 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT
Sound Card: Not sure to be honest…but it works like a charm
Internet: DSL
Monitor: 1280 x 1024 max res
Hard Drive Space: 350 GB

Thanks in advance!

I have SP 2 and internet explorer is set as my default browser...however, when I try to run the tutorial, it keeps popping up AOL browser, and not surprisingly, the tutorial doesn't load...

FYI, the demo worked fine...

Thanks Jankee...you led me in the right direction...

I updated windows and it installed IE7 and the latest .NET version...that seemed to be the ticket.

Thanks again...too bad I have to go to work now! Arrrrrrrr!

Anyway, I was running it on a secondary system last night and I do have a CTD to report. Is there a bug thread?

I dont know of one specific bug thread. You can send it to support or post it in a new thread.

Jarhead,

I am very glad you got your problem fixed. Can you post the steps that fixed the problem, for anyone else who has issues?

Also, if you could, can you give the specs for the computer that is still having issues?

No problem Patrick...

All I did was run windows updater which installed IE7 and the latest version of microsoft .NET framework...after that, it was working...mind you, I haven't actually played on this system yet, but the scenarios are loading, whereas they were not before...

I hadn't installed these windows updates because I use Firefox and try to stay away from MS as much as is practically possible...

I'll post system specs for the PC in which I had the CTD when I get home...its embarassing, but I actually don't remember whats under the hood!
