Default Conventional cruise missiles

Has anyone had any success building conventional cruise missiles into the game? I'm redoing my Atlantean orbat, and would like to include a cruise missile in its air, submarine, land, and ship launched versions. It's off board, I know that, and conventional only, the game does not cover atomic, biological, or chemical weapons. Has anyone else done a successful cruise?

Yup, done it in my UK OOB.

Only Bug was that after the strike, it won't self destruct and then returns to base, after droppign it's warhead. I did experiment with a Transport that drops a Crew 1 Ordance vehicle, that would explode on impact, then the Paratroop transport would crash as it wouldn't have enougth damage points left.

That didn't work as well as I'd have liked.

Perhaps one could use a kind of artillery with high precision? That wouldn't really offer the missile one'd like to see, but..

Creating an ARTY unit is about the only way to do it , Ive done Tomahawks and Pershing's with conventinal warheads that way.

I don't know if that's what you've done, Pergite, but I waas thinking about a missile-armed offboard arty unit...
The only point being that you can't intercept these as you could have done with missiles being modelled as aircrafts.

Listy's technique works well (using strike bombers) but the missile tends to go on about its business and get shot AFTER having blown up the target...
Is there no way of raising the weapon damage so the plane would get damaged as well and crash? If you fit it with no armor, 1 durablility, 0 size and huge EW, it will need 1 damage point to get down, without being too easily targettable.

And what about using gliders instead of para transports? Won't the carried units take damage?

Good Idea Krap, Unfortanly the Missile won't be to accurate, but that might work better than any of the other idea's I've tried.
