Default New Armoured Engineer Units

1)AVLB-Amoured Vehicle Launched Bridge
To be used for (water/obstacles) crossings.

2)ARV-Amoured Recovery Vehicle
I use the breakdown preference and get stuck, would be nice to recover vehicles stuck instead of abandoning for remainder of the game.

3)MCLC-Mine Clearing Line Charge
Armoured engineer vehicles could breach a path of mines/IED's for your force.

4)Could ARV's deploy fascines to fill in obstacles (Trenches/Gap).
The U.K. AVRE's Icon's already have fascines on them.

Are any of these ideas feasible?
I apologize in advance if this has been discussed at great lengths

Try entering "AVLB", "ARV" etc in the forum search tool, before posting. it saves re-hashing points that have been brought out several times before.

The search tool can be found on the tool bar at the top of the forums.

I searched the forum and found threads that were old, wishful thinking they could be revisited. Sometimes it works on me when my kids ask me over and over!!
I searched for Fascines and found nothing, the fascines are for Icon realism I guess.

Thanks Andy!!

Great question! I've wondered about the possibility of a bridge-laying armored vehicle too and would like to see one introduced into the game.

I'd love the MCLC though...those damn minefields can take several turns to clear if they're deep.

Look up AVLBs in the forum, they've been discussed before,
Can't be done as bridges are terrain features and you;d need to be able to change the map itself on the fly to add them.
