trouble renaming dudes

Hi there, I searched a bit for this but couldn't find anything about this specific problem:

I can't rename my commanders (any of them, turn 1), even in a game I personally created with the renaming "allowed". I'm clicking the commander's order box (the one with the list "defend, hide, move, sneak", etc) and neither "r" nor "R" bring up the renaming dialog box.

Oh... dammit I found it. The correct box is actually looking at the commander's stats, not his orders. Case closed.
