Opportunity fire with AAA
How do I prevent AAA unit oppotunity firing at ground units without ruducing range? Seems I should be able to do this but can't find it.

Re: Opportunity fire with AAA
Try experiments with the OP Fire Filter. Even though it's been in the game for ages and lots of people use it. I don't so I'm not the one to advise you on that

Re: Opportunity fire with AAA
If it is an AFV, you can disable the AAMG. For AAA units, I think the OP FF is your best bet.

Yes I've got that but seems you cannot do it the other way round. None of the other filters seem to do the job.
Might be a good idea to introduce it in the next patch. Restrict AAA fire to air units only.

Re: Opportunity fire with AAA
I am a bit confused.
Why do you have your AAA units facing enemy ground units?

Re: Opportunity fire with AAA
I think AAA units do not make opportunity attacks against ground units, only air units. Though you can fire them at ground units during your turn.

No, they will engage infantry unless they are occupied with air units

I didn't the scenario designer did. Vehicle based AAA being being within sight of tanks isn't good, they die very quickly when you move them or they fire.
