Default Wish List

Hi:
First thanks for the many years of support with this game.
I thought I would throw out two things I would be happy to see in a new patch.

a) improved vehicle movement. Sometimes they crash through buildings instead of going around. Perhaps a course plot might do for this fix. Lines are traced to where you want to move your vehicle. This would be a little similar to what Combat Mission has. It could even change colors or display movement cost. I am guessing that the waypoint code might work here.

b) Improved CoC editor. Sometimes things get a little confusing when reassigning units to different commands. It looks like the way the address pointers are implemented is causing this. It would be even greater to allow more flexibility in modifying the CoC at game time.

I know these are getting into the code and thus may never happen, but just in case.

Thanks much
v/r

I like both these suggestions, but then again I am not a coder. So once again I must defer to the professionals on this one!

I don't quite understand the necessity of implementing a waypoint as it is in CM games, since this is not a we-go game.
When in combat mode in which you're expecting contact with the enemy, it is presumably safer to move carefully hex by hex, this is also true when you're traversing heavy urban areas. In march mode, you may just use the A key to send a formation to a given point, all at once.
