Default How to transfer cursed artifact

Should i send commander for a suicidal mission?
How to do it so nobody pickups the item?
Teleport to underwater province with laboratory - so guy sinks?

Is there the way to get item off without re-forging it?

well nothing easy. either kill the wearer off and hope a different one picks it up (not a garunteed thing) or kill him and reforge it. the only other tiny way to do it i think might be to wish for something else that fills the slot. (IE the wearer has to be able to wish)

Also, if the unit loses the slot in question (such as a Jotun Skratti changing into a wolf losing it's foot slot) then any item in that slot is returned if they are in a province with a lab. Of course, most units can shape change but they can be hit with the nature spell Transformation.

It ain't easy to de-slot a cursed item but there are a few options.
