Skirmisher is not a real American otherwiser he would have heard:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bjwzx...x=0&playnext=1
Bruce is probably too American for him.

Actually, since Anheuser-Busch is owned by InBev, a Belgian company. Its about as much American as is Toyota.

Budweiser is the reason many people think that American beer is like making love in a canoe.

Personally I think Spitfire is a beer more fit for SPWW2.

There are playable orbats and graphics in the Yahoo SPWW1 files section. They are for SPWW2v7 the last DOS version.

And Miller is now owned by South African Brewing, but you still can't get Lion, or Castle Milk Stout in the US.

Wink Re: Sp Wwi - Wtf ?

WWI would be a boring theme for a wargame IMHO, very static gameplay if you ask me.

Budweiser, Coors, Sam Adams, Red Dog etc (even Corona and Sol) are total crap IMHO, you people should try Bohemia, Tecate, Pacifico or Victoria, that´s REAL beer, and you don´t have to be american to taste that. I know this is totally OT but I just couldn´t resist

Keep Cool

Beer Re: Sp Wwi - Wtf ?

LMAO, no offense intended really just my opinion (you can see I´m lumping Corona and Sol also) though you´re right, I went too far lumping Sam Adams into the "total crap" category, SA is defineteley better than budweiser and one of the most decent beers you´ll find in the States, but too "thick" for my taste, it´s intended for the german-style beer enthusiasts IMHO. I insist, you should try those mx beers I mentioned and then we can discuss the issue anytime. You can get SA, BW, Heineken, Coors Light etc down here but it´s a rare event seeing someone getting them.

Keep Cool!
