Goodfellow and featuring such media luminaries as Tom Chick, Bruce Geryk, and Julian Murdoch as his co-hosts, will talk with John Hawkins of KE Studios in an upcoming podcast slated for the week of March 15. War Plan Pacific is a computer wargame for Windows developed by KE Studios and published by Shrapnel Games. Founded by John Hawkins, this is KE Studios first commercial title.

War Plan Pacific covers the entire war in the Pacific during the Second World War from the initial Japanese assault on the Allies and beyond. And while you may think that such a game must take weeks or months to play you'd be wrong. By focusing on the grand strategic nature befitting such a sweeping conflict of epic scope War Plan Pacific is able to retain what really mattered in the war while making the game playable in a single session. Yes, we said a single session.

Board game players familiar with Fire In The Sky (MMP) and Victory In The Pacific (classic AH) will feel right at home with War Plan Pacific, while wargamers in general can quickly embrace the game's digital board game feel. Eminently playable, users will enjoy commanding individual ships, air groups, and amphibious groups as battles rage across the Pacific. With multiple levels of victory and plenty of room for all types of strategy-from the historical to the ones cooked up at three in the morning-to be tried, War Plan Pacific is full of replayability. The fact editing scenarios is as easy as editing text and the ability to play against other live opponents is icing on this already scrumptious cake of wicked wargaming.

War Plan Pacific has received rave reviews since its release in December. Highlights include Out of Eight awarding it a 7 (out of eight, natch), the French site CyberStratege also awarding it an 8, and Gameshark giving it an A-. Jim Zabek of the Wargamer says it "...is great. Addictive, accurate, fun, and fast - wargamers seeking light fare can't do better."

War Plan Pacific is available for only $39.95, either in a physical safebox edition or as a direct download. For more information on the game, to download the demo or the scenario editing guide, or to purchase the game please visit its official product page:
