Default US OOB artillery weapon observations

This won't fully conform to the error reporting procedure, as I don't have access to the game right now, and I do not remember the weapon numbers off the top of my head, but here goes:

US OOB 12 weapon [M201 203mm howitzer] has AP:Pen and AP:Kill values (eg. cluster munitions), but no unit has AP/Cluster ammo.

Values for AP:P and AP:K seem to be similar for figures used in version 6.0 (comparing with M198 155mm weapon), and have not been reduced for version 7.0. Possibly just bring the Pen and Kill values in line with the current approximation of CM effects, as some players (who, me?) might want to mod CM ammo for 8in Batteries or M110A2s.

and

US OOB 12 weapon [M119 105mm howitzer] does NOT have AP:Pen and AP:Kill values (eg. cluster munitions).

This weapon has cluster munition projectiles available, but not represented in the game, such as the M444 APICM projectile:

On the list. I'll look into this when I start OOB work but NEXT TIME wait until you have all the info and aren't guessing when you post. The issue can wait a few hours

Well, probably should have, but at least it got sent instead of being forgotten for the sixth time in a row. Next time I will. I hope.

The M201 203mm FH in question is weapon number 115 in OOB 12, and the M119 105mm FH is weapon number 116 in the same OOB.

Why formation 033 "Howitzer Pl" in American OOB 12 has experience and morale modifiers +5?

Good question. I suspect when it was originally built it may have been copied from another formation then altered to be the How Pl and the +5 was forgotten about. F046 has the same issue. None of the off map formations do.

That has been like that as far back as I can check.....2002 but I will change it now, the net result is those two How formations will be a bit less expensive to buy

Isn't the M119 105mm used by US Airborne forces? Perhaps the +5 is intended to be an Airborne formation?

(( Just a WAG ))

Maybe but neither is used by a specialized airborne formation as a sub formation so more likely it was a cut-and-paste error that's been in there since the early days and nobody noticed until now and besides...... if they were intended to be an Airborne formation they would be +10/+10 not +5/+5
