Regeneration question
I put a ring of regeneration on a Lord of Plenty and it had no effect. why? He's not lifeless. More generally speaking, what are the types of units that can't benefit from regeneration?

Re: Regeneration question
Just lifeless units. Do you have a screenshot? A regen ring should work with a Lord of Plenty.

Re: Regeneration question
Yeah I'm kinda thinking it's just that you missed it or something.
It definitely should work. You don't have any mods turned on do you?

Re: Regeneration question
I have CBM 1.5, maybe it's a bug? The screen shot would show that he's got Regen when he's wearing the ring, but during battle his HP never recover when he's hit. Maybe someone else can try it?

Re: Regeneration question
If you are fighting in a province with a lower dominion score then the one you moved from, regeneration will not start working until the pretender goes below the number of hit points he would have in that province based on dominion bonus.

Re: Regeneration question
Oh, you're fighting in lower dom than you moved from then, and you can't regen past your max HP.

Re: Regeneration question
Heh, Psycho beat me to it, and with a less lazy/more thorough explanation to boot. =)

Re: Regeneration question
This is a rule I wasn't aware of. So Lord of Plenty has 150 hp base, and because I'm in my own dominion he has (say) 360. What you're saying is he won't start regenerating until he goes below 150? I haven't really been looking for that, if that's what you mean that explains it (and is also valuable to know generally). Thanks!

Re: Regeneration question
Say he moves from a province where there are 5 candles (so he has 300hp) to a province with 3 candles (where he can have 240hp). In battle he will start regenerating when he goes below 240hp.
