Default A Series of Games Featuring Mods (Crosspost from Desura/Dom3Mods)

The below was posted on the Desura Forums as well as the Dom3mods forum.

The original thread can be found here:

Hello.

I'd like to poll for interest in a series of small games featuring mod nations. I am entirely happy to set up and admin these games, all I ask of the players is that they be willing to give various mods a fair shake and have the intention to see the games through to the end.

What do I mean by small? Well I mean a maximum of 6 nations and a minimum of 2.

What do I mean by mods? I mean exclusively
the game modifications found in the thread linked below, limited by era where appropriate (so no mixing of MA and EA nations, but era neutral mods like CBM, holy war, streamers and standards are absolutely fine).

Here are the mods:

What do I want from you? To tell me if you'd be interested in this type of game and which mods from the list would take your fancy. The actual games will be spun off from this thread and will tend to have fairly standard settings. I will ensure in each case that the map used is reasonably balanced.

What sort of players am I looking for? I have no preference between completely new players, longtime veterans and intermediates. The important thing is that you want to have some fun and try out some of the excellent modifications available for dominions. I expect only a basic level of commitment from you as players (not turning AI without my permission, not staling multiple turns in a row, not bailing with no effort to find a sub) and I don't mind how seriously you take the game as a competition, within reason.

The bottom line is I want you to have fun and try out some mods. It would be nice if you could provide feedback on the mods before/during/after the game, but this is not mandatory.

So who is game?

I am, for starters. I am interested in using essentially any of the mods on the list, my only requirement being that one of them is CBM.

Incredible work. I followed the link expecting to see a couple new variants and instead dropped my iPad. I have some irons in the fire but hope to participate when able.
