Default ANY news? Anything at all?

Should we just figure it's dead?

If I remember correctly I signed my NDA to be a beta tester for 82nd but had to drop out when I got deployed overseas post 9/11 in early 2002.

While I would still like to play it my enthusiasm has waned severely over the years. It's a shame really as 101st had such potential and there are so few (none) turn based squad level strategy games out there.

82nd could really fill a void in a niche game market right now I think.

There are a few out there. Silent Storm, Nightwatch, Hammer and Sickle by Nival and an upcoming X-Com clone called UFO Extraterrestrials. It would be nice if they would actually make up their mind however and either finish or admit this game was dead.

I just found out about this game, i've been looking for this type of game for a while.

I wanted close combat and squad battles in a turn-based format.
awesome.
