Im looking forward to play with 2-3 players a "fast" game. As a fast game I mean trying to play every evening for an hour or two. The limited amount of players is needed to be able to play that way.

it's not abandoned - you need to park your butt in there for a while, and sometimes a blitz will come together. Activity varies a lot, though.
