The project si to give a Gold or Original AI to all those shipsets out there having an outdated AI or just a cut & pasted stock one.

Wholely Flurking Scmidt! That Infernal Realm shipset is spectacularly well done. Zero, you updated it for Gold, but did you draw it? Very impressive. Umm...I know what the rar format is, but I don't have a decompressor handy. Anyone got it in zip format?

Yes, it is a work of Andres Lescano as written in the readme.

BTW you know a valid address for Andres or the guys at Universal Shipyards? They seem to have abandoned the scene, i'd like they have a chance to publish the updated AI on their site, too.

I left a couple of Messages at the Universal Shipyards, but no-one is replying them...

Arkcon, sorry for the format I used but I have to squeeze every byte I can from the shipsets and images, I have a limited bandwidth for all the network (that is shaping slowly) and the space is limited to 100 MB...

If you plan to play them and don't want to use ministers you can use the old shipset at Kuat Drive Yards, but if you plan to use it for PBW or as opponent, well, my AI is better and packs some nice surprise:D

I wondered about the name. I recognized Lescano, but was it Andreas being funny, or could he really have a relative named Damien? And if the Daminen was a joke, maybe the whole name was.

By the way General -- my sig is a link to a slashdot story, apparantly the actor who played Avon has brought the rights to the Blakes 7 franchise, doesn't have a script or budget yet.

We all know the steps:

3). Profit!

USY is still in existence, but seems to be in limbo. Nothing new in almost 6 months. I'm not surprised you didn't get any feedback from them.

Damian Lescano made some other ship sets too, such as the Cephelaopiea (or something... the red squid ships)... and... I forget what else... it is on the KDY site.

Damian and Andres have made some fantastic shipsets. I recommend that everyone checks out the yards for their work
