***Harumph...mumble...grumble***

I'm looking to find a few new neutrals to exploit...and I know that there are more out there (I've just got standard ones plus KDY neutrals)...but I haven't found a convenient download. Is there a place where they can be found...without, say, downloading the entire StarTrek Mod or scrounging up one by one?

You can copy any race into the neutrals folder and they become a neutral. I think you might have to rename the race folder and files to Neutral### (with numbers instead of ###) to get them to be loaded by the game, but I am not sure on that part.

I believe AT released all the ST neutrals he made as a separate pack some time ago. Have you tried looking for it in the scenario/mods forum?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No...unless shomething has changed in 1.84 they can be named the same was as normal races. And yes...regular races will work that way...but I was hoping for some fresh meat. Hehe...

I will check the mods forum tho...didn't find at first...maybe get lucky this time.

Have you checked the Race Directory (http://diesel2035.free.fr/racedir/index.htm)? It has some 240+ ship sets listed on it... all of which can be downloaded from http://www.spaceempires.net (and almost all can be downloaded from http://www.tescosamoa.com (http://www.tescosamoa.com).)).

If you're just looking for new race pics to use as neutrals and not entire shipsets then check out this... NewRaces(Redux).zip (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/newuploads/1050474871.zip)

It was slapped together a little while ago to replace the standard race (just to shake things up a bit) pics but it also includes many extras IIRC. Just name them as you want, throw in some history, and Bob's your uncle.
