Somehow the AI knows that I have weapon platorms on my planet, because it used to attack every time my fleet moved away, but now it won't touch the place... I do have Counter-Intelligence running... does the AI cheat? (Not like it couldn't use the advantage http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif )

Yes, the AI does know what is in your planets' cargo. Otherwise, they would not be able to make any informed decisions about whether to attack or not, and would either always attack or never attack.

Well, they could do that based on information they actually have http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Most of my own decisions to attack a planet are uninformed too! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

i just look at the number of space defences.
of course, you could put all your satelits over one planet and all your weapon platforms above another. but that would split your defences.

I am hoping that in SE V, we are given the chance to "teach" the AI. This way we can run a few games and play as we would want the AI to play, and then the AI can learn from this, and from how we play other games of SE V and grow into a formittable opanent.
