Hey, I just got SEIV and installed the latest Star Trek mod. I used the mod launcher program, played for a couple of hours and was loving it. I saved & quit. Later when I tried to load the savegame up from the mod launcher I get this:
"Invalid data files. Data files currently being useddo not match the data files used when the game started."
But... I haven't changed anything since I started the game from the start trek mod, mod launcher, etc. Any ideas what's up?
I aprreciate it in advance --

First try this. Highlight the Star Trek Mod with the mod launcher and press Play SEIV, then from the main SEIV menu load game and select your save.
If that works, then to get the mod launcher load game to work you need to create a savegame directory inside the Star Trek Mod folder. Move your save game there. Restart the mod laucher or refresh and the load game should now work.
Hope this is clear,

If the save game is showing on the far right of the launcher, don't clik on it, for some reason it doesn't always work you have to clik on the name of the mod and then play SEIV, your save game should show up, if not then like previously stated you will have to make a new folder in the game directory for save game. then save it there, it should work.
just some ideas Mac

The key is to make sure you have a "Savegame" folder within each mod. Then the saved game will be saved there, otherwise it defaults to the main Savegame folder within SEIV. Naturally a Star Trek save in the standard game would not work well with the default game, hence the mismatch.
Cybersol's work around is fine, but, as he suggested why not create the appropriate folder and move the saved game to there?

The Star Trek Mod has its own saved game folder. You game is saved there. Do what the others have said, and use the mod launcher program to start the Star Trek mod. Then load, then your game.
If this does not work, let me know.

Gentlemen:
Thanks for your help. That saved game folder in the mod directory did the trick. Now I'm off to mess with them fluidic-types.
