Atrocities

I have just finished the New Illuminati Race, a Neo standard race, and it is available for download.

Please let me know what you think of the set.

Excellent, work as per usual. You make me jealous.
I particularly like that the top down views rock on these, as well as the portraits. Nothing worse that an awesome ships set that only looks OK top down (since thats the way you mostly see them).
[edit] did you make these with Doga?

Hummmm, for some reason the zip is currupt on the server. You can get the race from PBW under NASY Illuminati 2.
I will re-upload the set to the server and should be done by 2 pm with any luck. (Pacific time)
Thanks for reporting the problem. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Great game, one of my Favorites. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif And yes the inspiration for the Illuminati race combined with a race from a Harry Harrison "Stainless Steel Rat" book dealing with a race of hostile humans who were forced to survive on an ice world.

Nothing like taking control of Al Gore with the Cult of Elvis under the effect of a Weird Turn Pro card!

Sweet shipset, Atrocities.
I think I found myself a new favorite shipset for PBW. Now, if there only was a cool game to join http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
I have one comment though. The relationship between the flag, population bar color and ship color. In large games the races functions better when everything is easily recognizable. I usually end up changing this myself so its no big deal, but.... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I'm a little ignorant, I think. What are the bottom half of the images for (scout, corvette, etc.)? Are those units that are demanded by mods, but not by the official game?
P.S. Looks great! I can just imagine the fear I would feel, under attack by an extra fleet of "Extra"-class Extra Ships! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Saber Cherry.
That is correct. Some mods add more hulls - leading to the development of 'Neo-Standard' shipsets, which provides a common set of 'extra' sizes.
Just makes it easier for modders and shipset builders, to integrate their work, I think. Don't know who came up with the idea, but whoever it was deserves a medal.

I should have standardized them. I think white would be a great color. I wonder why I didn't do it? *Puts finger to forehead and rubbs while squinting.* No idea, must of just had a brain fart or something. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
